Is the Flir i5 a good unit or not?

We rarely see thermal imaging equipment for sale second hand in New Zealand. This is near new.

I appreciate any feedback.

I love mine. But I've never used anything else though so I cant compare. But its great for WD, seems to do the job and basic enough to figure out howto use it fairly fast. Good entry level camera I think.

I used Flir ir camera's at the Reet's WFD course. They were necessary to insure that we were getting hot dry air to all of the affected areas. They are also helpful during initial inspection and daily documentation.
I purchased the i5 because it seemed like a good value for an entry level camera that could do what I needed it to do. I also think that the prices for these cameras will continue to come down so when I need a camera that does more they will be less expensive.
