I’m looking at used vans right now.
Nearly bought a 2018 Express 2500 with a 6.0 yesterday at a big dealership, but thought it was overpriced for the miles (165,xxx and needed 4 tires @ $14k out the door).
Had they thrown on 4 new tires and replaced the dead battery it had from sitting on the lot since summer, I’d have drove it home. Maybe. At that mileage, to me, it’s an $8500-$10k vehicle.
It also seemed so flimsy and cheap compared to the older vans from the late 90’s I’ve ran for years.
So now I’m thinking about the Ford Econolines, but haven’t heard anything good about the motors in them.
What are everyone’s thoughts on vans?
Non Transit/Promaster/Sprinter.
