Hell to all here at Mikey's Board!

I have been nosing around here for a while now and it dawned on me I better introduce myself. I am new to the carpet biz. For the last 13 years I have been in the siding, window, gutter replacement business, and for the past 5 have had my own company. Before I started the gutter gig with my partner I wanted to get into the carpet biz. Went and started working at Ser. Master to learn, but life had some different plans. Now I am ready to take the plunge and become one of the carpet cleaning greats! J/K With the help of Mikeys Board (you guys).

I live in the midwest, South Dakota to be exact, and no......we do not still ride horse and buggy! hey Marty, blow me

I was under the mistaken impression they rode Harleys in SD.

Plenty of Harleys, especially in a month or so! I live on the other side of the state from Strurgis.

Well, I have been trying to figure that out. My plan is to order some 4-5 samples of the popular ones I've heard good things about and do side by side tests on a house. I no a guy who lives in a rat hole. Carpets havn't seen anything but a rare vacuuming now and then for bout 8 years, kinda makes me cringe thinking about it.

My list for prespray samples is:
S&G
Grease Eater
Trashed Green
Esteem Attack
Peroxellence

Trying not to make it to long, want to also use products safe for the tech and homeowner. First things first I have to set in stone the tools I will use.
