Drained about a quart from the heat exchanger with a steady flow. Added about a gallon since I started. Thought I had it but still no heat.I had to add a little antifreeze to mine tonight also. Replaced radiator Friday.
If you have no heat in the hvac you DEFINATELY have an air pocket. Not knowing what may have been done to your van since it was built, I'd loosen a heater hose (not hot) until water comes out to make sure it's purged of air.
This time of year you don't need to drive without defrost, nor do you need to burn up your engine from inadequate cooling.
Turned heater off while driving and turned thermostat to cold for a couple minutes and it blew warm for a minute
Not using the butler just the van. I do get water from it at the dealership though.
I'm waiting to saigerize the butler before I start using it more.
