Glide help

I need to get this hole glide on my 4 jet prochem wand asap. I have heated it and now what should I do? What is the best way to get the glide on?

Dan, the quad wand is the HARDEST to get on....


SUPERHEAT it ...you won't hurt it....Then force one corner on...& work it to the other end.

Wear some gloves....It is a really tight fit....

NO...

Put it back in the boiling water.....YOU cant over heat it....I will return to its shape

And conform to the wand....Don't worry..I know it is a lot of money...but you won't hurt it.

Whittle it down a bit at the corner.

Well I got it on. It was like giving birth. No I can't imagine that. :shock: I popped one corner on and then used the rubber mallet to tap it on.

If it breaks, it was meant to be replaced

... who needs a pot of boiling water when I have a heat gun!!! :shock: But, you have to wear leather gloves for that puppy.
