groupon drops ipo and goes through second coo in months

For a company that’s made a mint on convincing businesses to get on their knees and sell what they do for peanuts, Groupon very well could have missed their opportunity to cash out when someone was ready and willing to OVER pay for their company. Groupon should have got out while the gettin’ was good. And the gettin’ will never be that good ever again.

Groupon and websites like it are starting to run out of businesses who want to play along. The noticeable increase of undesirable brands, unproven businesses, and weak deals on these flash sale sites might very well be a sign that the era of the half priced deal is quickly coming to an end.

LOL @ Greg

Groupon advertised "Steam"....Not HWE. I didn't approve either one.

And you know as well as I do that articles, studies, stats.....Prove what they set out to prove and word it in such a way that accomplishes it.

Steam uses steam....HWE uses hot water.

(Bad for you Brian that Becker must be busy.)

Steam cleaning is a generic term for the process,as real steam could be bad for pumps, carpets and a safety issue.

The more exact term for the process is Hot Water Extraction.

About the same as chem dry, in reality not being a dry process at all.

Pad cleaning extracts too. It's just not hot.

and you said

so you agree with my point but try to disparage me for asking clarification.

I was just eluding to the fact that everyone advertises "Steam Cleaning" and yet nobody really does it.

So that made me no different.

However...In the real world, I know it was a misleading term to put in the ad and I contacted them up until the day before to get them to change it and they didnt' do it.

Every other deal does the same thing....Even todays deal tried it.

I always tell them that I sell "Clean" NOT "Process".

So that's the deal plain and simple.

Sorry for my screwed up way of xplaining things. !gotcha!
