I see people washing their cars in their driveways .. allowing alot of sudsy detergent to flow down the driveway towards the sewer drain..
I wonder .. if our cleaning detergents are better for the environment than car wash detergent , or lawn care professionals spraying pesticides .. pressure washing houses, decks sidewalks etc.. we should be able to pump out on to the lawn ..
seems like hauling extra weight (wastewater) , burning extra fuel, exhausting extra polluting fumes in the air ( may effect the ozone), would do worse damage to the environment than to simply pump out on to the lawn
