I've done the same with my PCTI worked great. I did deepen the center groove though, to allow more suction.
I actually find his slot glide to be much better than the regular PCTI slot glide. Wider holes etc.

Seems to me more pick up of gunk and airflow is neglectably minuscule to hole glide.

You know what’s funny. I’ve been using the PureForce Apple Spice smell-gooder. It smells great, but if I forget to empty my waste tank, my van smells like rotten apple cores.
