Tony is down under and asked me to post these photos from the advanced colour repair course we did today.

I have toyed with liquid and solid dyes for a number of years now, but never had the type of training offered by Tony till today.

Here's an example of my work.

this took max 10 minutes including making the stains and stuffing around taking photos etc.

Cheap olefin rug with green and blue marks.

If you want to know more, you'll have to do the course ;)

When he did that course here we used a two 'pulled from the dumpster' rugs, a wool hand-tufted and a synthetic machine woven, both had color bleed and other stains. The work done by first-timers was so good that both were adopted after the class.

I understand that Americolor is going to be selling dye sticks along with their liquids. They need to become a part of color repair courses.

Do you guys have plans for putting that class on again at the Cleaning College? Tony put a mini seminar on in Nashville a couple of years ago but I was helping with registration and missed it. Looks like a great class, color repair while it may not make you ton's of money would certainly make you a hero and solidify your relationship with your clients.
