I say, do you want me to move the sectional and clean under it.

She sez no, just go around it.

She was wrapping the cord on her Dyson as I walked in.

Took me longer to set up and break down than do the job.

She was thrilled, told me of the last cleaner.

$141.00 same area same deal.

Could not have been much more than 100 sq ft.


$1.41 per sq ft... Not a bad deal I guess.

And you want to break my chops for raising prices 8-10 cents a square foot. LOL. Just kidding. We are working on getting 35 cents a square for residential. At 35 cents we would be in the top five for "priciest" carpet cleaners in our area. Get what you can, while you can. If you feel like "your taking advantage" of the customer on a job like that just protect it for the same price. Thats what we will do if a person wants only a couple hundred square feet done.

Good lord, I don't know what any of my fellow cleaners in the area charges.

I thought I had a handle on coit, but I think their prices depend on what is parked in the driveway.

Heck, I'm happy at what I charge. I work for good people.
I live a good life.

My clients love me and I appreciate them.

Life might change for me If I pull off the planed move.

Hoping to do it in 08, but if the real estate markets starts to show signs of life I might have to wait till 09.

Back home my $$ will go a long ways!

Not a ton of value in a business like mine, but I will get something from it before I go. ( had to interested parties a few years ago with a possible move to ID, But then I heard RTS was headed there and tossed in the towel )
