My Daughter has a kindergaten class of 30. Had a lice outbreak last week, and the cleaning staff "cleaned and sanitized" the room. Also fumigated? Can fumigation bombs kill residual lice on fabrics in the classroom like flea bombs can kill fleas?

I've used Steri-Fab, but I'm not a licenced pesticide applicator. Steri-Fab will kill anything....ask Marty about his situation with scabies.

Oh....and there were 5 more students found this week with lice.

An uneasy situation for a carpet cleaner to tackle.

THey did mass over kill and it wasn't neccecary to sanitize and all the other crap they did.

If head lice do not get a blood meal every 8 hours they die.

They won't live long without being on or very near a host.

Treat the kids NOT their suroundings.

That's what I told my Daughter. They don't crawl around the rugs. They do cling to coats and hats, and that's how most seem to be transfered. The cleaning people think they are doing what seems to be the best remedy.
