My google places page is gone. I go to my account and all info is the and it says its active and when i click to see my place it says we do not support that location I have tried all the stuffon thegoogle fourm. any help guys..

Ron,

Check and make sure someone(scumbag) didn't click the little icon saying your biz is closed. I've had this done to us. Because of it, our listing didn't show up. Even though google said we were active.

Don't sign into google and search maps for your biz. Some where on that page, it will have an - open,closed, whatever icon. Check that first!

assuming you recently updated the listing it is a "bug" and just leave it alone...should return in about two week......

if you search "we currently do not support this location" you will see there is a bunch of info on it.


However...there are other things that can cause it from what i've seen....so those should be ruled out

Just ad an owner comment in your editing screen....It's worked more times than not.

Owners comments comes and goes with my listing.

There is an owner comment area in your editing screen ....It's actually near the graphs etc in your Google Places account.

When you update the owner comments, it has been known to "reshow" a listing that isn't showing for one reason or another.

I'm not saying it works every time.....The account COULD be suspended...Then there is no coming back.

That has happened to us as well. They did something for like 2 weeks and it was back up? I believed they said it was under review or something?
Places listings are funny, make sure to work on back linking that city as well as listing your biz on many directories with all your info exactly as it is on your places page.
