Sorry Kid you got to figure some things out yourself....

For someone to answer your question sanely and with any intelegence they would need to know more of what was going on and a better scope of the work you are planning to do..

Remember there is 2 ways to buy oats.. Pay top dollar and get them off the store shelf.

To get the cheapest you can find.....

You go out in the field and pick them up after they have gone through the horse...

But on the other hand the most expensive coffee in the world the bean is recovered from the shit of the animal that ate it first. They say the digestive acids adds to the flavor.

Since your in the CC and janitorial business you should be able to bid on jobs without asking.. Also $95 to clean a house/apartment (without CC'ing) after someone has moved out is crazy cheap! No wonder you get lots of jobs...

Yes Joey that is ridiculous cheap but I understand your logic. You pay your hired help 8 bucks an hour and figure that if it takes them three hours to clean a house/unit you are still making money. I think you fall into the if I add more jobs, trucks, and employees, I will make more. The logical and most practical thing to do is charge more or offer more services with reduced overhead, but you know your market better than anyone else.

All I know is it took me over an hour just to clean a fridge when my renters moved out earlier this year. I just can't see going behind nasty people doing a whole house for 95 dollars. Way too cheap.

Also you can't apply apartment pricing to this type of carpet cleaning. You should be around 200-300 for the carpet cleaning alone. I can't comment on the house cleaning because I have no experience in that field.

The point is people will pay more as long as your price is fair. You don't have to be the cheapest or close to it.

WTF, are you giving it away, or are you only kind of cleaning it. 2 bed 1.5 bath move-out w/carpet cleaning $345.00, (add $45 for stairs if town house) the girls show up and clean the carpeted areas first then I clean the carpet and we normaly finish about the same time!

it takes me 2 hours to clean a 2 bedroom townhouse and that's with a helper so I still make quite a bit of money believe it or not on the highest price in my area

My prices are at normal rates here. I can clean one by myself in under two hours. And it is spotless. I have a system down that is awesome. Besides all of the properties I do are under 4 years old so, the newer they are the easier to clean. And god forbid I tell you what my carpet prices are. Lol.. I make good money but am by no means rich. Now if I do college property turns I'm in the $350 range cause they are nasty.

There is this guy from up river that comes to town every year selling his Christmas trees. His trees cost him $5 ea, He sells them for $5 ea and always sells out before all these 20-30 dollar tree stands do. When asked how he was making it, He said I got it figured out, Next year I will bring my big truck that holds twice as many trees, Vollume is how we will double up next year..

for a 2br townhouse???

baloney ..unless it was clean when you got there.

or..

you're not cleaning windows, light fxtrs, registers, appliances, cabinets, etc

you're wiping a few things down and dusting is all

BG is so full of CC and janitorial hacks it's not even funny (not saying that you are).. I have been called several times for different types of jobs in BG and when I give them a estimate they about fall over and say that I'm almost double than the other companies in the area. The area is about price NOT quality..

Ur right bill. Price is all that matters here. But we still do a great job for a low price. I tried raising prices once, it didnt fly here. So lots of hacks here, thats why my repeat and referral rate is so good. Depending on the customer, I can get more money.

That's a nice list James.

If it were smoke residue it would take one of my fire crews a week and about $12 G's to clean all that, your ladies must move fast!

We go by #of bedrooms, bathrooms, and flights of stairs. The cleaners get paid by the size of the house, 2 girl crew on a 4 bed 2 bath house would make $55.00 each, if they get it done in 5 hours, they made $11.00 an hour, but if they get it done in 4 hours they made $13.75 an hour. A little motovation to work efficently and not take long breaks!
Additional charges apply for trash, or furniture removal. We charge much more for eviction cleanings!

I pay my helper ten an hour. So...... I charge the same for each unit... they even themselves out. I may get a really bad one but the next two might already be almost clean and not much to do.. wow you pay 55 to each girl? See I don't pay them that much. So my prices are lower

I use to get about $250 a 3 townhouse apartment back 15/20 years ago for new construction

use to charge $25 an hour to do turnover clean(carpet not included $150 if no problems) subed it out for $15 eventually lost it to someone who did them at $75 a pop.

I seen very few that could be done in a couple of hours
