Help! Ud truck won't shut off

I know I've seen other people with this issue. The UD truck won't shut off when you turn the key off. Please help if you know what to do.

Failed turbo?

Pull the rubber coupler off the intake and sufficate it...

Failed Fuel Shut Off Solenoid actually..

Starve the Turbo..

All you have to do is pull on the connection where the "engine shut off" cable connects to. Sent him a video and called him.

Also, the wiring going to the shut off motor harness probably has an exposed wire or two

First thing? You need to check that the two nuts that are attached in line with the kill motor mechanism are in place. If not, there is nothing for the kill motor assembly to pull against against/tension to be able to choke the motor out and shut it down.

If this is not it there is a couple of other thing we can check before replacement of the kill motor assembly as it is something like 300 dollars and is not very fun to change out.

The 2005 has a Hino motor and doesn't have that shutdown motor. Our box heater was wired into that circuit and the motor went bad somehow making that circuit hot even when the truck was off. We took out the fuse and the truck shuts down. Hopefully when we install new heater everything will be ok
