i had michel call and order some stuff, one thing being some peroxide. your guy told her that you didnt sell it but had something like it and sent Fabric Brightener in a gallon jug. is it the same thing pretty much?
do i use it the same or do i need to do anything different?
i spray 30vol on pet stains, brown, yellow and dingy traffic areas..i spray after cleaning and just walk away.
any precautions i need to take?
give me the run down on the product please...epically what to be careful with, like turning your hands white, keep customers and pets off of it for how long?? etc etc
thanks
dave

When getting a new chemical I ask for the MSDS and a usage sheet from the manufacturer so that it is legit.
I wonder if my defence to OSH or in a court situation would be "oh I got the answer off a bulletin board" :roll:

here is what I think he is gonna say, the liquid brightner is 30 volume however it has stabilizers and other stuff to help it work better and last better, personally I use the powder brightner, its cheap, mixes full strength everytime, I can carry enough to make lots of RTU product. only draw back is the soda ash that is used as the carrier doesn't dissolve that well, try to mix it and let it sit a few minutes.

Hi Dave;

The Dynachem Liquid Brightener is 40 volume (12%) peroxide with a stabilizer and penetrating agent.

If your hands are clean, it will turn them quite white.

I don't recommend it at 9% concentration.

You can use it @ 6% (50% dilution) for spotting purposes.

I would keep animals and people off the areas for at least 30 minutes or so.

Larry

P.S. Steve-The DC Powder Brightener is a stonger concentration, so you carry less on the truck.

thanks larry..so if i am reading this right i can mix it at 1/2 a spray bottle with water and 1/2 with the brightener and use it as i usually do. any idea how long it will last mixed up in a dark gray spray bottle?
is there any way to test it to see if it has lost it bang after some time on the truck?

Dave;

Long-term storage depends on purity of the water.

Your pure RO water should last all day.

Just dip one finger in the bottle each hour and you will have a visual indicator.

I would say the 3-5-10% set. I don't think the weaker strips would help much for stain removal concentration.

Dave,
mix 40 vol and ammonia, spray urine, and use iron on wet towel to remove those spots. If there are a bunch then use powdered oxy in your prespray.

larry is this product good for just the stain, looking at the link it shows flooding and clawing it. if i have just the yellow discoloration can you just mix and spray this on?

Dave;

It will work as a surface application...

if the stain area is not completely saturated.

I have also removed coke stains with just a spray application.
