I have a royko electric real with 2 black wires. which one is the hot one? The top wire or bottom. I"m too lazy to test it off the battery?

Thanks for the replies. I'll jump it of the TM battery with jumper cables. I was of fraid of blowing the battery. Have you ever had one blow up on you? Scared the hell out of me. Ruined all my cllothes and lucky none hit my face.
