If I ever put a full dedication in Encapping, I'm gonna take a trip down to Rick, and pay him to train me for a week. I never could train myself properly. I grew to hate encapping. I know it's improper training. That's why youtube and forums isn't always the best way to train

or you just know what "great" cleaning is and looks like ?

encRap is a scummy method.
Driving a scum slurry to the backing where it's hidden

now, I didn't say you can't make boat loads of money, and it's improved the lives of hacks that don't know they're hacks thinking they're getting "great" results
But it's still scummy nevertheless

I have to say you're wrong, at least on cgd. I have several buildings now that I have been encapping for 2-3 years. One large building, this will be the 4th time I've encapped it. The carpets look better, have stayed cleaner with encap rather than with hwe.

lol

It's a great maintenance method for commercial work. When the "sink" is full then corrective methods can be used and they will return it to a condition where maintenance cleaning can be used again.

Damn One Trick Ponies only know one thing.

When all you got is a hammer, everything....looks like a scummy nail!

Once they’re full, it’s almost impossible to empty them
That's not been my experience. We had accounts where we had encaped for years. We did try to keep them from ever looking bad appearance wise.

Entry and funnel areas were op cleaned to keep the high level appearance. If they still didn't respond to that they were HWE.

That was very rare, most cleaned up well using low moisture alone.

We always started new accounts by HWE to empty the sink and then encap for appearance.

Used properly on the right carpet it's got nowhere to build up to. You have 1/4 inch of fibre glued to a floor. If you had large amounts of buildup, it would be visible after a couple of cleanings.

I had a country club with green carpet that matted and dulled from encap. Never could get it back to par.

Could have been a frequency issue. ???

Country Clubs are notoriously cheap. Its possible more attention was needed. It is also possible that the higher walk off traffic required frequent HWE cleaning.

We cleaned them once a quarter
For eight years
Awesome it's great to admit when you fook something up. Don't you feel better now? 😉

Seriously 8- years in a high traffic commercial setting sounds like they got good value out of that install. Matting could certainly attribute to the traffic and wear it saw. It's either replacement time or limp by with ugly carpet. I don't see how you can blame a method for its appearance.
