15 would be like a TM.

I remember as a kid going into Sears and seeing the Kenmore vacuum lift a bowling ball. But it was a little deceiving because they had it locked down on the ball and sealed so there was no air loss. A vacuum doesn't work that way, so 120lbs? Not sure it really is anymore than good marketing.

Where does Consumer Reports rate it?

I agree good marketing but probably means little in the real world.

I just ordered a Sanitaire 887, based mostly on posts from this board, hope it lives up to get its reputation.
I know its weak point is the belts so I ordered a few. How often do you typically have to change the belts?

just looked at a picture of it, has some of the same flaws as many other bag vacs.
Plus its another one that built for downunder; the air is coming in the canister from the wrong side
For $200, probably works well if its got no air leaks.
