Pros and Cons (so far)

Pros:
-cleans carpet more effectively than any other method
-wider head makes it more productive than the 364i
-lighter weight and better balance makes it easier to use than the RX20
-floating heads allow more "flexibility" when cleaning over lumpy sub floors.
-no streaking issues when two cleaning passes are made.
-solid as a rock.

Cons:
-handle is too wide
-needs more care/attention around transition areas than the 364i or teflon glided RX20
-does not come with a viewable sight tube
-wheels rattle no matter how tight the axle nut is

aftermarket sight tube...

Point of view (normal stature) folks can't see the factory site tube-ette

I've already had many ask "which one do I buy?"

Just like pre sprays and rinses, it's up to your personal preferences. I personally like them both and would be hard pressed to pick a winner. My modified 364i is a joy to whip around and get into tight areas with but there is still a rare occurrence of streaking on certain carpets. I have not used the HOSS long enough to say it will clean every carpet with out issues.

You really can't go wrong with any of the 3 choices when you consider the results compared to other techniques or methods. The 3 of them are like cars, they all will get you to your destination more effectively than walking, but only YOU can decide if you want to drive the Hummer, the Forerunner or the Suzuki Sidekick

Either buy from a company with a great return policy or loaner program or come to M8F to test all 3.

Rumors of yet another redesign of the 360 head so like most products these days, the longer you wait, the better it gets.

Usually.

Bristor sells black market Punjabi knock offs at near "Hot" prices.

But if it were me I'd buy the 360i from Olsen and the Hoss from Jon Don or Interlink

The RX I would buy used.

Man that was fast!

Is it long enough?

looks like the same size as the one that is on there....I will check in the morning...

I was wondering why I got this......it came with jelly beans so I knew John sent it....but I thought someone made a shipping error so I ate the jelly beans and was going to send the tube back..I thought you were going to ship after I got you the length....so getting it from John threw me.....

Thanks...I will let you know...

The sight tube in the first two pics looks a smaller diameter than the two inch hose on the machine.

Jim, can you measure it and tell us what size it is?

Thanks.

You sould be able to cram the sight tube into your vac hoses without cuffs.

Thanks Larry but I don't have a Hoss yet..the tube was for the 360i....I wanted to make it longer so it would be easier to connect the hose to it...the one that was sent was the same size....When I do get a Hoss I will get your elbow to help that hose.....
