Hey,

To winterize the machine it says to add anti freeze to water box. Can I just run the pressure pump with no water hooked up to empty it? I thought that would damage the machine... How else would you empty a waterbox?

The water box has no drain hose or valve(it does look like it has a drain plug, in back very hard to get to). I know some machines have a valve on the front to empty the box. Would this be a good thing to add? Seem to me, I could just get rid of the drain plug(if that's what it is) add a fitting, ball valve and hose... Bam! But is it something that's needed, will it make winterizing easier?

Thanks for the help...

Sorry guys,

It's a sapphire 370.

Able,
The only hole on top of water box is about 1.25-1.50 inches, not sure how I could use the tm to suck the water out.

Stick a garden hose in the tank, and stick it into your vac. hose and let your skin(cover the vac so it pulls from the tank) make up the difference..

Just run the pump until it runs out of water. Hardly any worry about damaging the pump going that route.
