Usually the concern is for the heat of the solution hose. The Lawn Picks from Interlink Supply work fine.

Fabric braided hose on grass has never damaged the grass, even when the propane is cranked.

Steel braided will burn the lawn, so I do not use it anymore on either van.

Cloth tarps work well for me. No doubt the hot solution hose will leave a mark. However, the vacuum hose with the constant shrinking/expansion can leave a mark too.

Not so interested in hearing exactly what they think about me from the disgruntled home owner that treats their 4x4 lawn like the crown jewel no doubt it is.

I just let the neighborhood dogs make their statement and make sure I had my coffee before, so I don't forget to check for those deposits before I lay my tarps.

Put the diesel 250 to use today pulling a truck out of sugar sand. Transits have some butter cutters and sink almost instantly when taken off-road
