Two different customers in the last few weeks hired Stanley Stupid for cleaning. Says they broke the outside spigot. Swore they will never hire them again in addition to rug doctor results.

I don’t get, were the chimps out on banana break during training?

Probably already broken, just blaming the last guy who touched it.

If it's a loose mounted spigot ( I want to spell spicket) that's not properly mounted on the wall with just one hand, I could see them twisting the little PVC pipe and causing a crack or break in it

Know more than one cleaner who has hooked up and turned one on and then found out he has flooded the house. Have always carried my own water.

It can happen if you're not careful. If that stem doesn't want to turn...... do not force it. Some people will turn it too hard and break it, especially if its frozen.

If it's frozen, leave it alone. We rarely have freezing weather here but it does happen. Those days I usually hook up in the house. Just be careful there too. After turning the tap on, open the door under the sink and check for leaks. If the outdoor tap isn't frozen and is turned on, it should be good to go. Watch out for buildings where the water has been turned off. It may have been turned off because of leaks. Always ask for permission to turn the water back on.

Owner probably should have labeled the spigots in the basement with tags or at least given you a heads up

or were you one of those dipshit contractors that wanders down to the basement turning on water without permission?
