All I remember was the cords were heavy and they alone made it a true pain to work with.

I had 10/3 cords (heavy) that were 75 and 100 ft and usually that was plenty enough if I backed into the driveway. My electric was a workmaster 300 xe. I only needed a generator once in the 3 years I had it.

I personally would have run the generator and only used the cords when I had to. Those 10 guage are just no fun toting around. thathurts
