Thinking about getting a new Van but want to know which one use the least amount of oil. Ford or Chevy?

sound off on year/make/model, how many miles, any oil leaks, and how much oil your van uses between changes i'd appreciate it.

My 97 Ford E150 w/ 145k miles uses about a quart every 3k miles and has a pesky oil leak from the rear main seal.

My 97 E350 stretch has 170000 and no drips. our cleaning unit is a shaft drive and we tried to keep to the schedule of every 1000 miles change oil to take in consideration of the engine hrs used for cleaning. We used about 1/2 qt between changes.

my 05 E350 5.4L burns up 1 per 1,300 miles from the beginning. Just turned 105k and running smooth. Fords responds was and still is "acceptable". I have run across several others who burn the same. I change oil and coolant, air filter on a regular sched and now run Mobile 1 from now on. Ford and Chev will take a beating but you can't scrimp on air, oil and coolant.

05 express 1 ton 164k 6.0 dipstick is right on every 3k no leaks and burns nothing. 01 ford e250 5.4 245,000 same thing no leaks or burns nothing. If they did they would be fixed asap.. That would drive me nuts
