Rambo just turned 75 and works most days. I,m 69 and work most days no helper. The body pains comes more with age. I should join a gym for a way to rebuild the strength and use of other muscles and my knees hurt more now. I hope to work 5 years more if I can only time will tell. jz.

One should only feel as old as the girl he's holding.

I'm a mere spring chicken even if I am on the wrong side of 66. shiteatinggrin

I also work most days, even yesterday (Sunday), I did an urgent white 3 seater for a store that is being delivered today. (Got dirty in transit).

Then, because Del; was at church, I knocked over an empty 3 bedroom + lounge + dining room, to make today that little bit lighter.

I don't think of myself as being old, merely older, maybe more experienced, definately not wiser.

I also hope, by slowing down and changing my jobs, (picking the work I want and dropping the heavy/awkward stuff), I'll still be active into my 80's.

While I still love what I do, and can still do what I love, I'll carry on.

If I have to do this until the age of Ray, Jack and Shorty, I might as well off myself now. I figured I was gonna be a millionaire off this business in no time. Good God. LOL

I'm 58....get up everyday and clean likes it's a lifestyle. Been doing it for 35 years. I'm sure I'll just give it up one day and say "FIA".

I do not start working each day before ....maybe 9, 9:30. I ain't rolling out of the sack till after 8.

i'm 32. I love this shit. I try and take care of my body..3 days in the gym..2 days Bikram..and put the sauce down years ago. Plus no smoking.

I could clean forever, but might have to take a guy with me to lug the equipment around.

I am turning 62 in a couple months. 41 years cleaning by myself. I don't take on as much as I used to. I am sure I can go 4 more years at least. Probably much longer if I just slow down over time and do just enough to get paid for a little exercise.

A friend of mine is collecting social security checks plus carpet cleaning 5 or 6 days week.

He seems kinda old but he's in better shape than most dudes half his age.

If you can lay off the fume sucking....Carpet Cleaning is a great work out.

Sitting in a chair in front of a computer all day will kill you.

Ask me how I know.

I looked like death warmed over at Mikey's Fest.

Anyone 60 or over who actually pushes the wands themselves gets free Teflon back savers at GG. It was a policy I started when we first opened and the new owners have carried on.

Take care,
Lisa

I heard about this stuff called "Odor liquidator" and for 58 cents a day, you could spray those shoes everyday...

Old is when you realize your body cannot keep up with the pace of youth.

Fortunately, it is usually a gradual thing, and part of LIFE.
