I sold my friend my butler last year. originally it came with a pathetic power reel that could barely wind up yarn. I extended the hose reel and made it larger, then took the power stuff off because it was worthless. So my friend got tired of manually winding up the reel and decided to make it power. Total cost for power motor was $150.00 The large cog cost about $40.00 and then the power pedal he steps on was cheap as well. Much more powerful and faster than the original, overpriced butler power reel

Hi guys:

That motor is mounted behind the back of the reel (looking into back door) where it is impossible to get an arm when reeling from the side door. I am really impressed. I'd also like to know where he got that DC motor, and pulley?

The last one we made ourselves was a modified to fit Bane electric reel, just because we had one. This one would be great for the next time.

Sincerely,
Dale
