Tm heat is propane only, so no bypass dumping of hot water to deal with. Other than it being a little on the small side, how do you think it would work as a fresh water tank, and/or as a waste tank?

My 1st post here on Mike's board, so be easy on me!

Thanks!

PS. Any other ideas for a tank in this price range?

PSS. What is the HTML code to post that address as a link?

"waste tank"??

May not hold up to much vac.

Ought to be fine for a fresh water tank, though.

Check you local farm supply store too.
They sell poly tanks as well and may save you a buck or two on shipping.

Some have 12vt flowjet pumps on them too, so you could feed your water box if you decide to use that way

Sorry Larry, I left out the part about a pump-out being used to pump to the waste tank, so there would be no vacuum pressure on it.

Thanks, I will check on the local farm supply store like you suggested!

Any downside to using a poly tank like this?

It should work fine as a fresh tank, but as a waste tank it would colapse like a beer can, I have seen a portable units vac, turn a 55 gal steel drum into a kleenex

Hunt down the Decker boys in KY, they had a sweet alum. square tank from a farm supply, priced right too. It was cool cause it allowed stuff like airmovers to be stacked on top cause it was flat, looked professional too.

They won some glides at SF, let me check my database:

Decker Enterprises

Mom (Peaches) will probably answer, she is the sweetest, try and catch the boys before they head out for the day.
