I'm so pissed. I think I'm switching back to my Kirby. For awhile I've been using my ProForce Vac and it keeps busting on me. I have replaced almost every plastic part on that thing. This last time really threw me over. I was vacuuming a rat nasty and the head of the vac started flopping everywhere. The damn plastic busted again!

I love the proteam and the edging tools, but it just isn't tough enough for the Damon. Time to go back to the metal army tank. Kirby or Royal. I'll just edge with my 2" hose from now on. I live a sad life.

As someone with "hillbilly" blood in them...

You must be talking about the dudes, because Alabama ladies are delightful! Pretty much on par with out west(as far as hotties), just not near as many and not near as ditzy/brain dead... Oh, and that wonderful accent.

Not my assessment Jerry, I think Marty is a beautiful soul inside and out. Just a tad dopey is all.:shifty:

Blame Business Insider for that finding.

Looks like Compound residue under there
Ive had a SEBO and a Proteam, very similar designs.

Horrible. When you can't see the pile getting lifted or brushed you know nothing is happening other than a surface cleaning

Sharks and non Ball Dysons can dig in but filter cleaning and breakage get's old and expensive.

Get a Kirby or ROyal and the HPP and your set for a long long time

and look like a Pro.

Vacuuming Upholstery with your Shark while it's laying on the ground aint impressing Mrs Alabama 1982

I totally agree. I've destroyed 2 dysons and this proteam Vac. I would hate to see what Miss Alabama would look like when I'm done with her. Plastic vacuums are not the way to go.

I have a Kirby in my garage but it needs repair. I broke off the back wheels when I jumped my van over a speed bump. Even Kirbys aren't tough enough to handle me.

Ya and being careful never hurt either, my helper Phil gets frustrated and something breaks! Coincidence? I think not.

I've been using the Portapower since the early 80's (the old white one). We used it in our cleaning business. It was a great vacuum back then. The current (black) version is built a little cheaper than the old one - but it's still worth its weight! We use one of the newer Portapower vacs at our house for hard floors. Highly recommended.

yer brave to clean in the snow Mike. Reminds me of Squaw Valley work. If my contacts were still there I'd hand them to you but times change and personnel too. There's honest money to be made in and around those pine needles especially for a guy who lives close by.
