I just picked up this old Everest. It needs a little TLC, but it runs like a champ. Nissan motor, 4100 hours, and I paid $3500. Good deal or bad? I think I'm going to install it in my Promaster.

I would like to try and do it myself, but I don't have much spare time. I'll try a couple other body shops tomorrow.
My body shop sprayed that stuff in the back of my pickup truck for $400

I did the herculiner diy stuff. I didnt have time to wait for linex to be scheduled. I saved a ton but herculiner is no where near is durable as the linex. Overall it is working just fine though. You should be able to put it down in two days if its dry conditions. It rained all weekend when I did my promaster. 3 coats

You bought the Everest for $3500, might as well spend 1200 to line it. Remember, we’re post Covid. Putting in context, my circle drive cost 18k
I did Raptor liner. It came out great. I bought it on amazon. I mixed the black and the white and got grey. It came out good.

Did you have a lot of prep like wire brush and sanding?

I scuffed everything with scotch-brite then wiped everything down with acetone.
