I messed up. Need help.

My tech got sloppy while spraying a solvent based grout sealer on the grout lines.
It's my fault because he hasn't been working very long and is an amazing worker. I should have watched him better..

Anyways, is there anyway to get grout sealer off these cabinets without hurting the wood?
I'm so stressed. Any ideas would be great!

On some surfaces, I took some fresh sealer on a rag and wiped it right off. I don't know if this would apply for wood or not?

I'd try what Shawn suggests. Use a clean terrycloth rag. The sealer should dissolve the sealer on the cabinet and allow you to wipe it off. Good luck!

Or, a Mr. Clean magic eraser, use dry and go slow if the other doesn't work

I think I'd try a little 0000 steel wool and some Wood Creme restorer. The Restorer will soften the finish some but shouldn't harm it. Start slow and see how it does.

Just wipe it off with a damp cloth. If that doesnt work, apply some more sealer on a rag and wipe. Also, use the rapid seal system next time.

I would try more sealer first. anything else try in a more hidden location.

How "old" is the sealer? As in how much time did it have, to cure on the wood?

We sealed it today at 11:30.
I haven't been able to get back yet. Hopefully tomorrow.

I also read somewhere that goof off may work. Anyone know much about goof off on wood?

last I looked at the label, Goof Off is mostly xylene (if i recall right)
i don't think that would be a good choice for that cabinet's finish

Don't use goof off on the cabinet. It will cloud it and maybe damage it. i would expect most cabinets to have a conversion finish and are pretty durable.
