I agree loose all hose elbows and make a better connection from the blower to the waste tank also the glide is on the wrong place put it on the back lip of the wandI'd take off the front glide on the wand... Also take off the 90 degree elbow on the waste tank, and replace it with a 2" vacuum hose to the 90 degree elbow on the blower... That tape doesn't look like it's sealing very well... Take off 1 of the 90 degree brass fittings and put a vacuum gauge there... So you have some kind of metric's to go off of... Take off your blower filter to see if your suction improves... Do all of that first, and let us know...
Is that an optical illusion, or is the suction from the tank to the blower connected way down low on the tank? Like a foot or more down from the lid? How do you avoid sucking solution through the blower as the tank fills up?
While Dan & Larry bring up good points, I think Nate may be on to something with the tape. If that tape is meant to seal the tank, it doesn't appear to be doing so. Its not tight in the corners, does it hiss air when a load is put on it?I'd take off the front glide on the wand... He doesn't have a vac gauge. It has been suggested that he get one.Can you check the actual suction of your blower to make sure it has good vac? I've had blowers go bad.
And many tired Carpet Cleaners...Death by 1000 little cuts. Story of many tired truckmounts.
