have looks to be unique. And I asked for the "updated" jet bars and they did not have it in stock so they put a call into sapphire.

Whats is unique about it other than the old style spray bars and the complimentary ball of rat hair?

The motor is 90 degrees off of all the hoss I have seen. The power wire is routed completely different and there is a hole where the one you have, has the power cable going through to the motor.

lol

I received my in two packages.

When I was doing the wiring (that should have ran through that hole with some bend restrictors and a lock nut) I was thinking of all the drop shipped units that were going to get wired like that.

Who knew a Jon Don chimp would mess it up.

every thing else is stock on yours from what I can tell.

you are never going to really get to know how well that machine will work for you if they don't give you a good one to try out........looks like some one pulled the gear box housing apart.....did they give you all 3 orifices.....did they say what size is in the machine....and you really need 2 long spray bars on that thing for it to work right.....

Since all the spray bars are the three holes should I put the bigger orifice dime in?

no..tell them you need the 2 longer ones to go in it and use the smaller orifice

Michael;

I know a distributor in your town that does have the updated jet bars

There is also another upgrade available for the Hoss.

As well as 2" Clear View Tubes.

What other uPgrqdes are there ?

Was not impressed at all by the hoss on the two commercial jobs I tried it On. My tech begged for me to Put it back on the truck within the first hour as we had a lot of clean streaking from the get go.

Recovery was sub par and needed two dry passes are needed in my opinion.

My only hope is that he new spray jets Are a huge improvement over existing as I encountered streaking even while moving slowly.

It was a lackluster experience to say the least.

The increased flow from those two longer spray bars are a game changer.

What RE does not need at least two dry passes?

Maybe my old rx with glides doesnt but without glides it does but it is an older version.

the mytee glides I have on it leaves it a lot drier!

mine has 5 jets and 5 vac ports.

Isn't it the norm now a days for companies to put out unfinished products and expect the consumer to R&D them?

sure looks to me that a cbr and a high flow wand are going to be much faster and give better results....

I can't see how riding a Honda rice rocket over dirty carpet would help.

But you are wrong.

An RE with a site tube will out flush any other wall to wall method

does seem to do a nice job.

wouldn't rush the machine though. seems everyone would rather fly over carpet than let the tools do their job.

Re: I picked up a hoss from jondon to try it out and the one

So picked up the updated hoss today and it is built much better than the previous one I had. No screws falling out, the wheels are nowhere near as loose, the new spray bars of course, motor is mounted like all the others I have seen, the micro switch is actually a temporary or momentary switch instead of an on/off switch the other had, wiring is wired correctly on this one incorporating a bend restrictor.

It looks like they opted for more plastic on the head instead I stainless around the vac ports. and the spray bar "jets" look to be shapes differently.

Those handle bars should be pointed straight down so you can get in doorways.
