I had two similar.
The one in the pic is pre 1992, later ones had two motors and cords, without belts.
I think the stainless lid for the solution side was introduced in 1986 or so.
Other than a few small changes the current machine is little changed from the 1960's Scot-Johnson machine that was subsequently built in Muskegon MI as Karpet-Steem by Gibralter Fabricating before Bane bought the rights to it.

I'm pretty sure the blower is seized on this unit, its not been ran in 8 years or so, why I have it sitting in my office I don't know, but its a nice foot rest at times.
I did have a thought at getting it working again and turning it into a little in-plant cleaning unit, I'm sure it'd clean cushions just fine.

There are times I wish I had one to do commercial carpet cleaning, roll that bad boy inside and clean away.
