Our female bully is VERY dog aggressive, we can't take her anywhere off leash and even the simplest walk can be tough if we come across other pets. We've had a few scens over the years that were near fatal for the other dog. Paid a vet bill of two.
She a very active dog that would love to go with us hiking and fishing but we cant take the risk.
One thing I have been able to do is take her on peddle bike ride where I keep here leash tight and let her pull me. If she sees another animal I usually can pull her in tight and she remains focused on the run.
Until yesterday when a German Sheppard tied up in the yard made her ignore my control efforts and she plowed me right over at high speed.
A spectacular crash with me getting all wrapped in the bike occurred, torn clothes, skin and more bruises than I can count.
We walked home and she got an earful. My depression over the lack of things to do with her is worse than the bumps and blood. She could have a really great life, going all sort of places with me if not for the bully aggression.
Never again.
Only mutts or Labs for now on.
She knows she really fvcked up too....
