No I don't Al. I was invited to work for one, but they wanted to pay between 2 & 4 cents a sq.ft.

What's your average size (sft) for commercial?.

Also Al, yes I do find it competitive, very sometimes. But I learn who wants quality and who wants price.

Sounds like a blockbuster account?

This year I will have done about 460k sq.ft. in commercial. Most of it priced decent and one account which is a government job, in which I inherited when I bought the business is cheap.

Average I guess would be about 30k.

But I learn who wants quality and who wants price.

Can you talk of how you do this Vince?.

I will ask the customer straight up, do you want quality or price?

I will educate them on quality and why I charge a certain amount.

If its price they want, I will put in my lowest price and hope for the best.

first and foremost though, I try to build a relationship with the gatekeeper first before approaching them about their cc'ing needs, usually by cleaning their own house or have cleaned a friends house or business.
