We don't see it as a threat but rather as a valuable tool that can be used to create very low vapor pressures and cause moisture to move from materials rapidly.

Technological Threat?

During his presentation at "The Experience" show in Las Vegas, Jon Don's Bill Yeadon asked the audience what new technologies present a threat to their business. From the audience a restorer spoke up with a one word answer, "heat".

In actuality, heat is not new; it is the world's oldest drying technology. However, the application of heat in the water damage restoration industry is relatively new and is causing restorers to reconsider how they dry. Everywhere, but for water damage restoration, heat is the primary method of drying. Consider the use of blow dryers, clothes dryers, kilns, dishwashers, and ovens. Even desiccant dehumidifiers use heat to remove moisture from the desiccant material.

Heat can be an OPPORTUNITY for your business rather than a threat. Make sure a DrySmart is part of your drying tool arsenal.
