Your hair shampoo can often be in a gel form.

Gels have been around for decades, and can be made easily from most solvent bases.

Here is a furniture stain on Facebook that the cleaner tried CTI Pro Solve Gel & other major products on . . .

Only the Dynachem Dye Remover had any effect.

Adding ammonia will cause many solvents to gel. Then put the mix in a squirt bottle. Some solvents react such with different agents, similar to the emulsification effect that one gets with oil and water in salad dressing.

I've made a gel with magnesium aluminum silicate (a food-grade "clay") to make a product linger in contact longer.

What is gumolene?

Chemiesters Citrus Solvent. For the most part I use it (sparingly) straight as a general solvent spotter. Works great on spots, gum (usually) filtration, etc.

Can also be used as a prespray booster.

I looked on Bane's site sure enough not for sale in California. I have an old empty wonder how I got it. Also found Solv-a-clean, none dilutable dry clean solution that says do not dispose down a drain. Where the hell would you dispose of it?

That's why we started selling the gallons....so they can refill their 32 oz sprayers. I have whole families (multiple households - Mom, daughter, sister etc) that do it that way.

it's a good citrus gel. Won't remove furn stains unfortunately but spray some Allsolve into it and you've got your pros choice equivalent.

A gallon costs about $80 but well worth it and it goes a long way.

I use hel-gel and also spot-n-boost. I think spot-n-boost is a solvent if I am correct. I don't use that a ton because it's a little pricey. But does well when needed.

I use Scots Tuff Citrus Boost. Costs me a bit because I import it from over your way to Australia. Normally buy a few cases, each holding 12 Quart bottles. A case is $95USD If I recall correctly.

Works well neat on gum etc.

Mixes without forming an emulsion with water based treatments and is a terrific booster.

To make a thinner spotter I can spray down on larger areas I mix 5oz to a 1 quart sprayer of water. Not much argues with it. The Pro's Choice works so well because it uses Methyl Ethyl Ketone. This is similar to Acetone but has a longer working time.

Acetone and Citrus oil work well 50 - 50 too.
