I had a free day. Since I needed a seam weight for carpet repairs, resections, and seams, I didn't want to spend $100 - $145. So, for $10, I made my own.

Now, you may not be far off! Last time I welded on my own was in highschool! At least the welds are holding. Mission accomplished......... I think!
