I don't pre scrub?

I'd argue but I can't handle dealing with more than one hack right now.
Lol well I guess I assume that since you you are all about the re now. And you have been posting about your process and you haven't mentioned prescrubbing lately, that I've seen.

No argument, just discussions.

The reasons for pre vaccing can unexpectedly become abundantly clear on certain jobs. last week on my first job of the day, the lady had just finished vacuuming with a good quality vacuum with a beater bar and there wasn't a speck of dust in the house. I wasn't going to second guess her and vacuum over what she had just done. Carpets cleaned up brilliantly. Next job, same thing. The husband this time had just finished vacuuming their wool berber carpet with their nice looking Electrolux vacuum. I could see all the wand marks on the carpet and thought, "good, another one I don't have to pre vac" WRONG! I didn't notice that he had used the flat floor tool instead of the power head attachment. As I was cleaning the relatively clean carpet, I started to see balls of hair and lint and dust accumulate under the wand. The kind that become very obvious when they become wet but stick to the carpet like burrs. I had to spend a lot of extra time hand picking these burrs out of the carpet and at the end of the job, I took my grooming brush and picked up a ton more. I have lots of customers that do a good job vacuuming before I get there but I find myself pre vaccing more than I have in the past. Probably time to raise the prices a little and do it on every job.

You use a porty so your opinion doesn't count.

Just kidding but if i crb'd the job you described I'm sure you would get much more out no matter how much you vac first.

The crb assists the prespray in agitating the fibers to break the oily bond between them it also helps bring those soils to the surface where they can be easily removed.

Yes but these bag less vacs have filters that need to be beaten the crap out of too and that sucks.

And in the end it really depends on the brush roll on how well it sweeps the rug

And sweeping the carpet is regular maintenance done by homeowners or custodians. I'm there to "clean" the carpet not vacuuming.

Buy another set off Amazon, rinse them out usually every other day.

So all your jobs on Friday take about 12hours to dry???

Pretty sure he's referring to his upright vacuum filters not Truckmount filter.

He must've taken offense to my comment. That's the last time I harass one of you MB members on your dry time

Geez I was just joking, lol

I get more out than just a vacuum will. I follow Genny a LOT and she or Tina vacs very good with clean filters on every job. And I still dig a football size pile of crud out of the carpet.

So no I don't waste my time prevaccing.

Tina is our 18 yo Nicaraguan live in employee. Great kid in a tough situation so we stepped up to help her.

We are trying to help her get legal too.
