It's unfortunate about BP Direct, but I know Scott and the Hanks brothers and I am positive that they had no part in what happened. However, knowing them, I know that they are deeply bothered and saddened by the whole situation.
They were ripped off also. The damage to their good name caused by the print company is every bit as unfotunate. I for one appreciate the way they have stood up and want to help.

Roast me if you want, but I still believe in Bridgepoint.

who did they help?

Is that how you run your company? "Come on I am a nice guy forget about your money, I am a nice guy"

Yes, what did they do to correct the problem?

If they refunded peoples money I'd like to know, because if they did... all is well.

If not, I don't care how nice Scott or any brothers are....

I wouldn't do business with a company that didn't correct a problem like this. Problems happen from time to time, it's how they handle it that matters.

Please, I'd like to know how they resolved this.

I got most of my money back with absolutely no help.

I did it . while I was warning people of the rip-off scottw said I was just an unhappy customer and their are two sides to every story, even after seeing that market partners admitted not fulfilling the order. Even after many complaints of rip-offs Bridgepoint was still trying to lead sheep to slaughter. If they didn't refund my money my credit card was going to anyhow at that point. I spent hours and hours of my time. I was called a liar until I produced the order confirmations and emails etc etc etc. Not once did I get any help from bpoint even though I compained

I still lost money

I was responding to the post by craig

They aren't the only victim but they sure are one. Do you think they planned for all of this to happen Odin? Do you honestly think that their intentions were to join with a company and then have it completely fall apart to where their customers end up getting the shaft from Market Partners and have their name dragged through the mud?

Look, I have a good relationship with Bridgepoint and the people there. That does not mean that our relationship has always been perfect, but when given the chance they have taken care of me.

I feel that when the day is done that the efforts they make to keep their good name will satisfy most people. I know some will never forget this. I personally was not affected, but I know I would be upset if I was. I would look closely at who is to blame, and I would hold someone accountable.

I am saying, give them a chance, they are good people.

For me it's ALL about MY money... The only thing that happend to BP is there name has been trashed... Could they have avoided there name being dragged through the mud??? ABSOLUTELY...

After BP set me up with this scam can I get my money back?? Really dose not look so good... Seems to me that money is more important then there name, and that is really sad!

As much as I hate to say it Chris, Terry is right.

They chose to have their name dragged through the mud.

When you use a sub, you are responsible for their fookup's.

I'm sure they never intended for anyone to get burned, but when it did happen they didn't cover their losses.

Instead they chose the stance of "they got burned too". ???
Who brought these guys to the market place?

You independent Interlinks also got an undeserved a bad rap because this thing was handled poorly.

Talk about a public relations nightmare, they need to get a hold of Tom Cruise or Britney Spear's agent.

Like sheep to the slaughter.............................. BP lined up the cleaner under the BP Direct name claiming it was theirs and now they cry victim ?

Boo Hoo

BP could have been true hero's here but they blew it BIG TIME. When Crowley was getting the wood Scott told us all that is was Greg not BP Direct that was the problem.

I'm not saying that they are handling it right or wrong all I'm saying is the cleaners aren't the only victims. I do understand that you want your money Keith and I hope you do get it but you aren't the only person this has happened to. They are working on a resolution that will hopefully satisfy most people but not everyone will be happy with the outcome. I will reiterate that BP didn't plan for this outcome to happen. Chris THEY never cried victim that's just the way I see it

I know I'm not the only one but no matter how much money or how many custy's are out there, I think it would be alot less expensive to refund the money then to rebuild the BP name.. JMO

BP gambled with my money and they lost... Pay up BP!!!

Lets look at it this way.........

I use BP Maxim and my customer spills red koolaid. They try spotting it and I try cleaning it. Then I turn to my customer and tell them its BP's fault that it didn't work out. My customers say give me a refund and my solution is to have them pay me 150.00 for a gift certificate for 300.00 worth of Protector.

Have I taken care of my customer ? Anything short of a full refund is total BS.

Chris

P.S. BP Direct knew way ahead of time that the company they partnered with was blowing it big time and did not sever their ties with them.

Since we are all independant distributors, I don't think its fair to share with other's customers what I do for my own.

I know the nature of the independant distributors here, and I know all will do whatever is in their power.

If I handled my fook-up's the way bridgepoint is handling this, I would be out of business! They should be 100% responsible for the actions of someone (or some company) doing business with their name on it. Maybe the independant interlink disty's don't deserve a bad rap, I like the guys at mine, but BP NEEDS to step up to the plate and take responsibility for what happened. I'm a BDCC like most of you guys, and to lose that kind of money would kill me.

Personally, I don't think I'll buy another BP product ever again! I refuse to support a business that treats their customers in such a poor manner. Bridgepoint deserves to be raked over the coals, and if it was me that was out all that money, I would NEVER lay off of them, I would RIP them every chance I got.

Just my 2 cents!

packfancjh, I didn't PLAN for my hot solution hose to damage my custy's vinyl floor, but I paid for it IN FULL. I didn't PLAN for my tech to break an antique lamp, but I paid for it IN FULL! The only real, fair, and honest resolution to this mess is a FULL refund to all the guys who got ripped, not some sh*tty gift certificate where the guys who lost money are asked to spend more to get back what they lost! WHAT A JOKE BP IS!

If you were my customer Keith I would help you do whatever I could to help you recoop anything you could. I'm doing that for one of my customers right now that is out around 5G's. We are trying to come to resolution to where he is satisfied and we are very close to that. It will take quite some time for BP to come to a resolution with all affected but I know they are doing what they can but it will take some time.

Once again, I'm not saying they are handling it right or wrong but I do hope all affected get taken care of the way they should be.

Chris don't feel like you have to take responsibility for the fiasco.

It's not your fault and you independents should not have to defend BP for their error in judgment.

It's admirable that the Pemberton's and yourselves have worked to take care of your customers out of your own pockets. 8)

I know I don't have to take responsibility for what happened but I am a part of Interlink so I feel I need to put in my 2 cents because they are my biggest supplier. The RAT that I am has to make good with as many people as I can.

Scott W misrepresented the program as a Bridgepoint roll-out and then recanted when it went south

misrepresented = lied

this is right around the time of the thread where Cameron jumps in and says Move-on

I wish I could say my local distributor could help me like Pemberton and a few others have gone out of their way to help their customers.

I wish BP would do whatever they needed to do to keep their good name and the business flowing to their local distributors.

I wish I never lost money in this marketing scam

I wish the nimrods at Market Partner lots of KARMA
