Living Social Deal Ended at 7am today.

Sold 101.... But 25 of those are "pending". I think they let them put the voucher on reserve to wait to decide to buy.

I was actually figuring we would sell more.... But 100 was the goal so it worked out.

Roseville, Folsom CA area.... No Sacramento unless they pay a trip charge.

As usual....mostly women bought.... and the men who bought were probably be told to buy by their wife. shiteatinggrin

You could clean 3 rooms for $30 if the rest of the house is $300 right?

Stay positive Dave.

Oh, and I won't be cleaning them. I just make the deals. Iseeru

Yes, I'll have both adults in the home leave separate reviews. !gotcha!

I'm not really tracking the total sales this time. I'm not that involved.

Last time it was an average sales ticket of about $98 I think? Not great.... But that was on top of the initial sale so ad the $30 to that.

Still not great.... But the repeats, referrals, hits to the website, exposure, direct calls who paid 100% to us... Really makes up for everything.

To add 130 or so customers at once is pretty good.

I didn't get the exact number of direct calls but there was about 20 the first day.

If done correctly, this is a great way to jump start a company.

Someone tell me why on earth can't you do a DECENT deal and make half assed money rather than trying to upsell the daylights out of things?

I guess my attitude of repeat customers gets trumped by these deals.

I'm sure you idea of "decent deal" wouldn't be allowed by Living Social....Why?

Because it's not a "decent deal" for the customer.

Most typical responses are:

1. Why don't you just send out your own deal and make 100%?

2. Why don't you do the deal for a higher price

Very simple answers. I/We/You don't have the mailing list or reputation of Living Social/Groupon etc

And if we did the deal at a higher price... It wouldn't be a "deal".

The highest I've ever been able to do for 3 rooms is $89. I sold 10 deals.

Although I'm getting ready to run that same deal... 3 rooms for $89 in the entire Dallas area.... I would imagine I would sell at least 100 condsidering the population being in the millions.

I assure you if we were to go to Vacaville...There would be a nice trip charge.....We always put city limits in the deals.

Sold 101 Vouchers.
