My carpet cleaning companies as a whole are making more money in these first 2 months than last year by a mile.

Momentum is working for me.... Quality work goes a long way for that repeat business.

THAT along with my other stuff I'm doing is really blowing it out this year.

Thank God!

Oh, I hope you blow out the other stuff you're doing......yep, I sure do. Blow it right out your A.......cn.

What do you attribute the success of your carpet cleaning business, Brian?

Please elaborate on your Carpet Cleaning businesses busyness.

How can you make more money in the Carpet Cleaning biz in two months over 12 months? Do you think this trend will continue?

What's the source of your prospects?

Honestly it's just been time and quality work or the perception of quality work.

People come back whether we like it or not.

Service Monster helps a ton because we send out reminders every 3 months like clockwork.

Full Circle has helped us with the busy phone times... When it gets too busy.

I honestly could build my Dallas/Plano area even more but I've really backed off..... Just repeats now and a few Amazon Local straglers.

I've been subbing out some, giving away some and doing some myself.

I'll actually be cleaning a good amount this week... I couldn't get away from it. lol

I think I have a good, friendly brand.... a good system in place with my other areas.... and the female homeowner responds well to that.

We do a good job cleaning... But we focus more on image and customer service..... Be personable is key.

Too many freaky carpet cleaners that focus on superior cleaning (whatever that means) and let the image go.... They freak out the homeowner no matter how "good" of a job they do.

They know who they are. lol

Some OP but most are TMers. I don't judge.

All I do is OP when I clean... But if I sub out here it's usually TM... Go figure.

Oh, yeah, we talked about that.

How do you handle quality control with your subs?

Any subs with HWE portys?

It's a process... Most times I can tell right over the phone but I've been wrong.

If they get complaints, I don't use them.... Just like employee except easier.

You see.... It's not the cleaning.... It's the person.

If the person over the phone is "on track" then I can pretty much assume they are going to be ok with the customer.

I've had a few subs with porty's..... Some of the best because they are go getters.

What do you mean "over the phone" how do you get your subs, chancing cold calling charterless craigslist cleaners?

Are in person interviews required? Tell me more, si vous plait.

I've never been to some of the places I've subbed out. I started Dallas before I ever got here.

I met the ones in CA for the most part... A few I didn't.

Over the phone, send me some info, I check them out etc.

Generally they are owner ops that need/want extra work.

They need to have their own thing going on.

I've even read Google reviews on them.

I tell ya, they read Brian's reviews pull the trigger to hire, but might get the second or third place guy.

That's crazy.

What's the difference between what I do and what the customer does just looking through Google or the yellow pages?

These guys all have businesses etc. I really just refer the job out while keeping the customer in my contact list etc.

Funny how the perception of people differs from the same reality stated differently. Funny.

When you hire an employee, that includes training, overseeing and perskonal responkibility, Popeye.

Hiring a sub over the phone ain't that.

What the custy is 'specting is that Brian R's outside perception to be an approximate equal to the inside reality of the guy that is coming to their home. You can only hope that's the case with sight unseen subs sucking sisal, shampooing sofas or sealing saltillo.

There's a reason why some companies advertise "no sub contractors".

I think that sponsored subs would be okay, if they were actually observed and not just show ups because they needed to make rent.

Surely Brian doesn't rely on Google reviews to qualify his subs.

That's about as lame as the "background" checks done by service maJiCk.

In a perfect world Connor.

I was semi kidding about the google reviews... But I've looked at them before.

It's a process.... Did you catch where I said they are generally companies doing this for me?

Do you always have to make more of something than it really is?

Are you always this negative?

How many licks does it take to get to center of a tootsie roll tootsi pop?

My sales for 2012 are currently up 210% over this time last year.

I think march will be closer to normal to slightly above.

Well, I gotta give you a hard time for the semi nudes you posted a month ago and all the MLM stuff that you litter the place up with.

Embarrassing I think is the word you're looking for, Bryan.

But reading many of your posts here, I suspect one of two:
You don't get it.
Or
You won't get it (as in refuse to.)

In any case, with god's and your subs' help.
The good nature of the American people.
And frequent (yet answered) prayers that the law of statistics never catches up...............

You should do just fine

I thinky you have to realize that I don't do things the same way as others... Never have.

I'm not one of those guys who say "I'm not like others" just for the hell of it.

People remind me of this everyday... and if they don't, I remind myself without trying.

I believe that if something is done on a grand scale by everyone, then there is probably a better way... Because "everyone" would be rich or better off if they were right in what they're doing.

MLMs, Networks, Subs, OP.... General way of life... Outside the box? I don't think I've ever seen the box.

Is Brian really involved in carpet cleaning?
Ok, maybe he is, but is carpet cleaning the purpose of his visits here?

I mean really, I can't even count the number of things he has tried to sell us.

It is always something, and something new.

Yes, Bryan.
Yes!
You got it, that you don't get it.
Finally!

Time to retire now while you're at the top of your game.
Don't scuttle it Mr. B. Enjoy this rare glorious moment of clarity.
It may never, ever happen to you again :p

It feels like we are having the best winter since the big pull back in 2008/2009. We also have had a very mild winter and very little rain. I am looking forward to see what spring, summer and fall brings this coming season.

no, Bri, you haven't re-invented the wheel .
You're not "out of the box" either .
You're simply a hi-energy "go getter" and a "relentless to the point of being obnoxious" salesman is all.

Nothing more, nothing less.... and nothing new or fresh !gotcha!

Keep up the ACN annoyances and an "inside the box" viewing will be arranged.

On second thought, this is the kinda box that ACN should be in.

I have a banner... How many products does Mytee or others have?

I'm just more involved than most "suppliers".

Everything I offer can be related to carpet cleaning. Some of which you are already using in your business.

It's just a little different.

I may not come up with the ideas, but I utilize them and show their value.

Would you not be on my arse so much if I did things like everyone else?

I wasn't tooting my own horn, I was just trying to give some perspective.

These are the things I've tried to sell.

Online Marketing

Everything else was just telling everyone what I was doing...They're the ones who thought I was selling it to them.

Arguing the value of what I'm doing is not selling... It's just discussing.

I also talk about how good other things are that I make no money from right? But I'm not "selling" those things.
