Is the difference of the jet spray pattern due to the uneven spacing between the jets? Wider gap to cover between the middle two jets? Are the jets able to be adjusted so all four are evenly spaced, allowing for all jets to have the same spray pattern?

Pattern seems good and the 1102 jets do cover the middle well. 9502 don't overspray the outside but there is so much adjustability front to back and side to side...

I had one start to overspray the other day and it was actually just because I didn't reset a set screw.

Easy fix all the way around.

Mark,
The extra set of manifolds and brackets were done by Tim, my fabricator of the Dev filter. He handed those to me a day or so before we went to Nashville. I didn't have enough time to even test them, The polished ones, the ones that are on your wand, and everybody elses wands are 100% made by me.
I kinda talked to Mikey about what it took for us to get the wand ready for Nashville.
I bought a Tig welder and spent about a week making a pile of very ugly manifolds till about midnight every night. I kept coming in and showing my progress to Missy....she kept sending me back out with... Yeah there good but you can do better.
I don't want to say too much, but getting the wand ready for Nashville was VERY VERY STRESSFUL. I had made a promise to Mikey to be there, and I couldn't miss it. I spent a lot of money the month before the show on things so I could finish the wand.
Tim helped me with some, but some things have come up in Tims life and he has been very focused on what he needs to do for his own biz, He has a huge amount of responsibility's to take care of and I just think he is really focused on that right now.
I purchased a Mill and lathe also, the day we left for Nashville.....I had to make a copy of my Drivers Lic, and in the process of doing that I forgot my DL in the copy/fax machine.....um can you say MISSY was NOT impressed when we got to the final security check point at the airport and um no DL!!! I thought I was done for, what a nightmare, I am super happy we made it......but I am even happier it is done just way to much stress.

The old Dang design manifolds are horrible
Yes we had a lot of problems with those manifolds and brakets, and even getting them so, I went to Tim and we came up with a different manifold system. I was really trying to help Tony with that wand, but that is history now.
I am actually happy things turned out the way they did. That old wand head is good, but it is a copy of a PC TI and that is fine, but it always bothered me that it was just a copy.
The Devastator wand is not a copy, The window in the top yes, and the reason why is, I had about 500 windows draw up and made because Tony didn't have any to send me...so why not put the window in the top of my new head. I am very proud of it, It really performs good with my #4 blower, as this is what it was designed around, It actually made me a little nervous when we hooked it to Mark's Butler....Holy crap it came alive.

Like the PC time but quite a bit better suction due to the wider opening behind the wider glide slots

I don't recall it being so bad on the over spray when you sent it to me 11 months ago.

I tried moving the manifolds around today with no success

The idiot is not talking about the new Dev-Pork. It has no oversprsy when properly adjusted. AND, to my knowledge, it's the only wand currently on the market with the ability to be adjusted in that way.
As the jets wear the fan starts to narrow out, so with 110's in the middle it gives enough angle to cover the tube gap, and enough to let you slide the manifolds outward to get you right to the edge of the wand as they wear, The manifold brackets DO flex a little when in full swivel, the only way I know to get rid of that is go with steel braid hose as it is a little more flexable, but the hose will start to rust due to it being steel braided

They were a problem, I know, I had to do a lot to them to get them as good as they were.

Well tomorrow I only have 1 job....so I will have fun, set up 5 to the door and let the VWTM have a go with my wand....it will be a play day. I haven't started her in at least two months, so today a went out took the cobwebs off of her and turned the key thinking the battery would have to be dead....nope she fired right up, so I gotta take her out and have some fun.

We regreased it the last time I was here..

If you want beta testers who buff their wands with chrome polish at the end of each day you better look at one of those mega posters on temf...lol

The rubber backed washers were a bad idea. As are the rubber hoses in general. Look at how the brass is scaring up the swivle.

I'd sure like to see a ss wishbone or single pipes with brass flare fittings used

It looks as if the feed lines are over torquing the Manifild brackets. Lots of ways that could happen, including flinging it around the van. You could capture the feed lines somehow to immobilize them after adjusting the brackets.

I would have put a swivel connection where the lines join up to the manifold, to prevent stressing the brackets. Something like the one pictured would permit the feedlines to move without moving the manifold.
