So I am working on this years dinner party. We will be going here http://fireflylv.com/ I am once again in charge so I need firm commitments. I will be working with the event coordinator on a menu if we are over 20+ people to pair it down and I am sure even Dough Payne can afford to come ti dinner this year. He might still bitch because they don't serve $2.95 top ramen but they have some pretty amazing food at great prices and we will have our own area. I need names by Friday to be fair to this lady I am sure we might be able to add to it but please do not wait until the last minute to let me know

The Prochem party before the MB dinner will be good also. You should plan on attending.

There are usually some free drink tickets available. If you won't be using your ticket, I can take it. I have no ethical objection to drinking when Prochem is paying.

Mikey wants it to be at 10pm Here is the info. the min. is $800 for the room so the more people we have the better. If we dont have 25 people then it wont make sense to get a private room unless everyone wants to pay 40-60 each since the room is 800 min plus 18% gratuity. I will put the charges on my card and have each of you pay me cash as they want it on one card which i completely understand. Your welcome to pay extra above and beyond :) Also notice the all you can drink open bar for $25-or 35 for top shelf for those that drink and are taking a cab over.

It was nice speking with you earlier today. Thank you for your interest in Firefly* for your upcoming event.
Attached in this email you will find the set menus that we offer.
Each menu is served family style and is all you can eat.

We also offer three beverage packages. Unlimited soft drinks, teas and
coffee for $2.50/person and an Open Bar for two hours that includes
house wine by the glass, domestic beer, well drinks and firefly
drinks for $25/person, $35/person for Premium drinks.

At this time the private room is available with a $800 food and beverage minimum. To book a reservation we require a signed contract and credit card authorization to secure. The room fee is $200. We use black table cloths and red napkins to set the tables. You can bring in your own decorations for the tables. If you are interested in a cake we recommend Freed's Bakery and Gimme Some Sugar. There is a $2/person cake fee. Private Rooms are reserved in a first come first served basis.
Please let me know if this will work for you. If you have any further questions, don't hesitate to contact me.

Ok the menus didn't post correctly ill email them to fred and have him post them

She told me we have until Tuesday to decide if we are reserving a room but id like to finalize it before then so if your coming please add your name and also look at the menus and vote which one you prefer as we only get one as a group but I think she is going to allow mikey to choose from the veggie menu. Also if you want unlimted drinks let me know that too

The Tapas tasting menu would be my preference (heavy on the meat, forget the artichokes), but I would enjoy any of them.

A private room is not a deal breaker. If we don't get enough folks to make the room a reasonable deal, I am OK with just some tables together.

Even with new owners, Bridgepoint won't allow alcohol on their tab, so I will be going the iced tea route unless some of the folks who say they owe me a drink show up.

You are going to LOVE working for Jon-Don, Scotty.

Steve

PS Papa Nick gets worried if we DON'T show alcohol on our expense account! (Thinks we must be doing drugs!) :)

There is a special "Splash Party" event, next to the pool, planned for Mikey @ 9:25 pm . . .

and it will promote a special type of camaraderie . .

for MB'ers.

We have 15 by this list. Do you guys want the private room? the minimum is $800 plus tax and tip which puts us in the 80 range (more if you want unlimited alcohol) per person. I am ok with that but you guys need to make a decision by this afternoon. No screwing around and yes you will be held responsible for payment if you said your coming and don't show up.

at 15 800 minimum plus tax plus tip plus drinks and we are about $80 each average some less that don't drink. 20 people would be 55+ I made a dinner reservation for 15. Regular menu you pay for yourself no private room no all you can eat menu.

Guys please read the whole thread. The room had all you can eat and drink menus. The minimum was $800 the more people the less each would have to pay. the menu was $30-40 plus drinks separate. If we had 20 people and the $40 menu no problem. price would be in the $55 per person unless they want all you can drink which would take it back to $80 or so which still isn't a bad all you can eat and drink dinner party. Personally I would prefer a private room but you guys spoke so only 15 people at 10:30 on thursday

OK everyone just talked to her again. If we pick a menu we do NOT have to reach the $800 minimum and they will have a cash bar. Does that work? I am not feeling good so I do not want to keep negotiating. Can you all afford $35 plus tax and tip?
