Auto scrubber with a little trickle feed? no way it's doing a better job than the mighty 370. but what do you know you bought a Oreck orbiter

Be sure to wash your tank out thoroughly. My distributor had to replace a blower varnished up from recovering wax. The waste tank was all crusted up too.

We’ll be doing a Large school auction cleanup in a gym this weekend. It will be huge. I’ll have 32” sweeper and 2 auto scrubbers going at the same time. We’ll probably use the Oreck in carpeted areas. Lots of smoking and drinking, and more drinking going on.

My TM mechanic told a story about a Vortex/ Aerotech (don’t remember which one).
He said the box truck was used at the Vancouver airport, and when it came in, the TM had no more suction than a porty, even @ the machine…
When he cracked the waste tank open, there was a 3” buildup on the walls, and the blower was hooped…
The company was using it to do VCT cleanups….
He was saying after all was said and done, they may aswell have bought a new machine with all the work involved in getting it back to spec…

The company was using it to do VCT cleanups….
He was saying after all was said and done, they may aswell have bought a new machine with all the work involved in getting it back to spec…

Yea that dried up wax turns rock hard.

I finally bought an autoscrubber earlier this year. I have used it a few times and need more practice to get better at the edges. So much easier, especially in the larger spaces. Going to be using it again Monday night.

I did that commercial kitchen last night with my Prochem Ti, 6 jet W/GG…
I probably put 6-8 months heavy use worth of wear on that Teflon in 2 1/2 hrs….

Ive got a stripping job coming up in a few weeks.
One of the bank branches, the small town janitor thought it was a good idea, and to make it shiny, to wax the tile lobby….

They want it off…
Using a HD shop vac to suck up slurry.

CRS initially got the Vortex for the airport. I subbed for them for a while and I hold dog shit on the sole of my shoe in much higher regard.

Yep do you do floors? Mopping up that slurry of old wax is a mess. Rinsing with a mop is time consuming. It just takes too long to old school it. An auto scrubber puts it down, scrubs it, recovers it.

Floors are still a pain but if you have to do them, the right tools will save you time and make you money.

The 1st time scrubbed and recoated this floor I looked into renting one.
I think it was $500ish a day plus a large delivery fee ( 2.3 hour round trip)

Still a two day job regardless, and an Auto sucks at corners and edges

Just put that $500 on top of your normal cost. It's better to drive an auto scrubber than swing a 12" wand all day, wondering if the job will ever end

Oh my! I bet you have to strip it twice. Maybe a hi pro pad the first time, and if needed, a regular black pad. Better hope it’s Not Mop and Slop!
