Re: I see the WOC goofs have MF questions

Yea they have always went with the expensive hotels.
I remember going to a resort in the Oakland hills a few years back for a WLI Conference.

Man talked about feeling out of place, I had a little Kansas dust falling off me in this posh hotel.

Worse part for me was I left my bags with the bellhop and went inside to check in. I go up to the desk and the dude at the desk looks down at he and said employment office is on the mezzanine, you need to go there.

Chit! I didn't even know what a Mezzanine was, let alone was I looking for work, man, I'm there for a conference.

But I thought what the hell, my sense of adventure got the best of me, so I though I might as well play this one out and see where it goes.

I walk in and this nice looking chick greeted me, I smiled and said the guy at the desk sent me. She asked what kinda work are you looking for?

I said what do you have? She said suckers, I said what? She repeated suckers!

April fools suckers!

P.S.
Sorry to who ever wasted time reading that chit!
I did go to that conference and it was pricey for the rooms, distance was a pain too! It was quite a distance from the airport, but they did work out a good deal on limo service.

That was hilarious! I was reading it and was mortified... I am so glad it was a joke. =)

Good one Richard, I took the bait. I stopped going to RIA at least 10 years ago, def before the latest name change. Lisa is exactly right (surprise surprise LOL), there is nothing worse for vendors than low attendance. Time drags on forever, you think about all the time and money wasted and you spend all your time talking to your competing vendor friends. There are some home shows we stopped doing for this same reason.

With all due respect.

It's not Belinda showing Mike her box?

If you follow her eyes, it's Mike showing off his package.

Nice to see weight problems, bad fashion, and male pattern baldness are still staples of our industry!
