Yep it's good for the industry. Nothing like making friends with guys taking money put of your pocket. Smooth move!

I was impressed by our MB friend CJ and his team at the St. Petersburg MF. Equipment they sent was really nice. Beautiful vans, very well organized and sharp uniformed Techs that had been working for that company for years and knew how to clean. Better than most OO I see on FB.
I went to that Fest with an opinion I had of SS for many years and when I left my opinion was flipped.
You are right generally but that wouldn't describe the Tampa area SS. These guys pre-vacuum, have Devastator wands and Zipper wands. They were asking questions about CRB's and SS clearhead upholstery tools. Now he seems to putting a blower/dryer on every van. They are stepping up the game and for what I have seen on FB, OO better get more professional quick if Tampa is the future of the SS franchise. SS have the funds to change the game very quickly Nationally. Seriously I was impressed.
I hate it when you talk in cyphers. I’m too dumb to figure it out.California's Stanley's are an admitted disaster due to the very reasons we all struggle here

Thats it. Quality tanks when you start bringing on employees. I’ve watched the “other” company drop grandy brushes on the hood of a car and cleaned up multiple carpets they have screwed up. I’ve come face to face with them on jobs where they were pissed at me for winning the bids. I’ve seen their toothless employees leave jobsites soaking wet.I often hear the same thing from the large franchises. I think it comes down to not being able quality as you grow. Some may have better systems than others. Difficult to manage consistently

My business is at a cross roads right now. I really could benifit from a helper. I need to take the next step. Watch out when I do, because I know it will force me into the next realm of exponential growth for my business. I can honestly say my resources are maxed out right now with just little ole’me doing everything. Although I’m buddies with the other local cleaners, they aren’t very helpful in helping me grow. I get it, its on me to figure it out. I do feel very alone sometimes. Glad MB is here.
I don't know if that's true. Look at that Big company in Texas. Don't they have over 50 vans and more than one location with very good reviews? I'd actually like to meet that company somedayI often hear the same thing from the large franchises. I think it comes down to not being able quality as you grow. $62k is the larger, mid height transit. The standard, low roof models are 52k.They are fully custom and they only cost the franchise or the corporate division about $62000

Jeez you highering a helper to vacuum and crb and move fans and chip and block all under your supervision is a far cry from the 2 week trained 19 year old flying solo!Thats it. YupOK, let me get this straight. Hiring a helper is going to grow your business exponentially? Did you run the numbers? Let me clue you in. Hiring a helper will then demand filling out all those really cool 941 forms not to mention your portion of Social Security/Medicare withholding. So take the payroll expenses, payroll amounts and benefits and figure out what you will need to make each day IN ADDITION to what you are making right now, just to break even to have them on the truck.
When you are able to add a second truck will you be able to grow your business exponentially. but maybe this is for another thread?
I’ve had employees before. Just not in the carpet cleaning business. Whoever I hire he is going to be one lucky dude to hang out with me all day.Higher an accountant you probably need one incorporate and yet you’ll need workman’s comp insurance!
Do it legit you’ll sleep better!

Eventually i would like to get someone trained and stick them in the other van doing just Property management work once they figure out the process. You’ll never get your second truck with out a well trained helper! That’s a fact!
