In old times, a building designed around the MOR time Saving Equipment was important if you wanted all the pieces of a complete Moore Rug Cleaning Operation. Hagopian in Oak Park, Michigan has many of these pieces. No doubt Mr. Snow can speak to this. (D.A. Burns has many of the components too)

How much to duplicate that operation?

If one was to buy the equipment in 1965 as seen in this drawing, based on the standard 16' models of each machine and device, then one would expect to pay around $115K.

Here are some examples of cost breakdowns:

The 16' standard Roll-A-Jet sold for $33,415

The standard 16' Duster with the recommended dust collector sold for $13,615.

A 100 pole system sold for $24,250

A Rug Wrapper and Paper Dispenser sold for $13,615

(Naturally there are other costs for important conveyors and belt tables to be added, along with tanks and pumps)

The shop rate was $9.50 per hour in 1965 for set-up and installation. Of course that must be added to the cost.

Do you want to guess what it would cost in today's money?
