This is a Cleaning Service Express Call. They advertise for you on the net with a local phone number and forward the calls to you. They send me transcripts of the calls and mp3 files. Most of the calls are dead ends or asking about services I don’t do. I think I’ll cancel the service. This Geezer cost me $10.00 :x

It didn't sound good from the begining, I'd have cut him off quick and got to the chase. He's the kind that books several companies and they all show up because he could remember their name or number. :roll:

i would pay 10 bucks for a lead like that and prob close 80 percent of them

You were pretty low keyed through the call and never attempted to over explain things to him. My read on him was he was skeptical and he didn't want a big sales pitch.

The one thing I would have asked about was what his concerns were about that carpet or previous carpet cleaning he had done. (Left soaking, poor removal of soil, etc). Based on his remarks it sounds like he's had previous cleanings where the carpet was left too wet.

It sounds like it needs a scrub and time on a few stains.

I think he will call back to confirm.

80% of the time I would book a call like that.

The guy was a price shopper looking at one of Robison's whole house flyer for $89.00.

He probably sh*t when Mike told him $400.00.


He would have had a stroke when I told him it would have been $900.00 for us to clean his house.

Dump him fast when he's not target client's market.

Trying to sell a customer your “exclusive” process over the phone is lame. I don’t need Full circle. Most of my calls are referrals who know they want to use me and will leave a message if I’m busy. I defiantly am not excited about driving out to dipshitville so I can work for that old geezer. The call came in about 7pm and I just let him babble because it was mildly entertaining. Trust me, I know how those old hillbillies think and the second you start selling they start using your words against you.
