Curiosity got the best of me. I just went out to the shop and looked at a vertical 47 that I personally removed from a Steam Genie PTO.

Looking from the timing gear end.
It has one 3/8" threaded hex plug dead center bottom for the drain.
One 3/8" threaded hex plug top dead center for the fill.
Approx two inches up on the right hand side another 3/8" threaded hex plug for the oil level overflow.
All these are in the casting itself, not the timing gear cover.

Flush set screw type from the factory.
Most truckmount manufacturers take them out and install remote drain pipes or hoses so it is easier.
Yours just has the factory set screw type plugs.
